Adelle is laid to rest in the Seychelles

Our little Angel was laid to rest in the Seychelles yesterday. She had a beautiful vigil, funeral and burial. She is even sophisticated in death as she is buried in a beautiful spot in the children cemetery overlooking the ocean and some islands. Her relatives were very grateful that we brought her to say their goodbyes. She is now resting in peace.

We wish to extend our sincerest gratitude to all the special people who were there for our sweet Adelle during her illness and even after she left us. We decided to keep her prognosis of 12 to 18 months from Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) private for her protection and this has helped her enjoy the most out of school, her friends and life till the end.  Normality for her was school, mum and dad working during the day, doting on her after school and on weekends and this we tried our best to maintain.

Your unending compassion and support, prayers, contributions, visits, and most of all, your time, softened the pain of the separation and made it more bearable. Special thanks to Kate, Jodie, Jasmine and Debbie and other Year 1 G parents, The Early Childhood Staff especially Louise, Kath, Tran, Kerry, Denise and Jocelyn, Nikki Bourlet, other GMAS staff members and management,  music staff and P&F, Principe family, Agnes, Jackson family, and Princess Margaret Hospital, Charles Gairdner Hospital, Silverchain Busselton, Surgery 82, Busselton Hospital, Father Earle, the Catholic Priests and Parishioners, the rosary girls who prayed ardently for her every Monday, all my fellow Seychellois in Australia and the Busselton community. We will always remember what you did for our little girl. May God bless you all.
