Remembering our little girl

Six months and a day, feels like a decade
Not a sunset passes that  we don't think of you
The pain of your parting, slowly fades
But fond memories will always remain true

We remember your sweet little face,
your darling smile
and wish we could see you again, if only just for a little while.
It's crazy you're not here, but you're not really gone
Because in our minds and hearts, you forever live on

GMAS Relay for Life Head Shave

Hello all,

It's four months since my sweet sweet passed and it's not been easy coping although those of you around me may think/ feel that i am. Being back at work gives me some purpose (still have bills to pay) and being around her friends and environment gives mixed comfort. We all miss her and that's ok, she's was too special not to be missed.

Attached is a poster for relay for life whereby I will be shaving my head in hope for a cure for cancer. Please forward this poster to as many of your friends as possible. Put on facebook if you have to. Together we have to beat cancer.

love you all,

Helen

GMAS Relay for Life Head Shave
This year is the inaugural Busselton “Relay for Life”, run in support of the Cancer Foundation. Georgiana Molloy Anglican School have registered a Team for the Busselton Relay. Relay for Life is an international event that helps Cancer Foundation’s around the globe fund both research and support projects in the fight against cancer.

Miss Helen Marie a teacher at GMAS with long beautiful hair has bravely decided to shave her head in memory of her daughter Adelle who passed away from a brain tumour last year. Adelle who was in Year 1 at the time was a beautiful child taken by Cancer and is sorely missed by her class mates and teachers.

Miss Helen Marie will shave her head on the Friday the 14th of March at the Foundation Day celebrations. There will be a band playing and a sausage sizzle on the day. All money raised for the sausage sizzle will go towards the GMAS Relay for Life Team.
The Busselton Relay is to be held on the 5th and 6th of April at Churchill Park Oval. It is a 24 hour event and the GMAS Team is still looking for team members (parents and students) to participate in this fun and very worthwhile event.
